Trials Fusion is RedLynx's 2014 physics-based platform racing game, sending riders through futuristic obstacle courses built around precision, momentum, tricks, and repeated attempts.
Trials Fusion continues the side-on motorcycle trials formula with short courses full of ramps, moving machinery, explosive hazards, and awkward landings. Each track asks the player to balance throttle, braking, lean, and timing while trying to reach the finish quickly and with as few faults as possible.
The game keeps the series' trial-and-error structure, where restarts are immediate and mastery comes from shaving seconds off a route that once seemed barely survivable. Fusion adds a brighter near-future setting, FMX trick challenges, branching course elements, and online leaderboards that turn every run into a contest against friends and global ghosts.
RedLynx developed Trials Fusion with support from Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Kiev, and Ubisoft released it in 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PC. Its built-in editor and Track Central support extended the game beyond its official campaign, giving players a way to build and share custom obstacle courses.
Trials Fusion was widely reviewed as a demanding but approachable entry in the series, with praise for its handling, course design, and restart rhythm. Edge later placed it on its 2017 list of the 100 greatest games, reflecting how strongly the Trials formula translated to a new generation of platforms.
